When you use any tool on PDFLocal, the PDF processing happens locally in your browser using a WebAssembly-powered engine. Your files are never sent to a server. They stay on your machine from start to finish.
No tracking
PDFLocal does not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or any form of user tracking. We do not collect personal information, usage patterns, or behavioral data.
No cookies
PDFLocal does not set any cookies. There are no authentication cookies, preference cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.
Verifiable privacy
Because all processing happens client-side, you can verify this by inspecting your browser's network tab while using any tool. You will see zero file data leaving your device.
